I’m a Swiss photographer and have been working for national and international clients since 20 years, including Die Zeit, New York Times, NZZ am Sonntag, Financial Times, M le magazine du Monde, SuchtMagazin, Coopzeitung, as well as Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Marco Odermatt, Lucerne Theater, Migros Cooperative, Lucerne Cantonal Bank, etc.
In my personal work, I engage with themes such as identity, memory and transience. Photography allows me to re-experience long-past memories and the emotions associated with them. It also helps me to immerse myself in the past in a cinematic sequence and reconstruct the before and after, which would be impossible without these photographs.
Study at the International Center of Photography in New York, participant in the Northern Lights Masterclass in Groningen, Netherlands, and most recently in Ute Mahler & Werner Mahler's “Klasse Mahler” (2024–2025) at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie, Berlin. Participation in workshops by artists and photographers such as JH Engström, Mariela Sancari, Erik Kessels, Antoine D'Agata, Michael Ackermann, Anders Petersen and Paolo Pellegrin.
Screenings and group exhibitions at the International Center of Photography New York, Photo Elysée Lausanne, Kunstmuseum Luzern and Haus am Kleistpark Berlin, among others. My freelance work has been published in numerous print and online magazines and publications, including DER GREIF, Photo RAW, 957 Independent Art Magazine, YET Magazine, VICE, SuchtMagazin, and NZZ.
Co-curator and initiator of BULB 6000, an off-space for contemporary photography in Lucerne.
