Muscles as status symbols among young people

Young men and women are under enormous pressure to achieve a muscular, perfect body, driven by social media, which can lead to anorexia, body image disorders and dangerous substances. For the photo series on the topic of ‘Quality and effective factors in addiction work’ by Swiss Addiction Magazine, I documented young women and men at the laSuite Fitness Club in Lucerne.
